Art Education in Schools
Teaching in public, charter and private schools, Elza facilitates creative and challenging art education to promote critical thinking and decision making, while learning the basic fundamentals of art. Working at an intersection of culture, themes incorporate ancient art forms and conversational Spanish into the classroom through the arts.
AReTes by Elza
Earrings made to be given as presents for self and all loved ones, characterized by individuality of design. Inspired by nature, created for bold women from different cultures and styles, combining the ancient and the modern, each one being an original creation.
Original Art
Since 2007, Elza’s artwork has been soul-centered with a natural flow. This influence is reminiscent of the clear difference in style a natural born creative displays. She has been compelled to paint with an eclectic and raw style using bold hues and unique paint strokes. “Capturing the essence of my subject is my focus, as an applied naturalistic expression.”

Art empowers students to trust themselves as they learn to listen to their inner voice through creative process. Since 2014, Elza has worked with diverse populations and age groups, cultivating the ability to connect deeply with a broad range of creative learners. Facilitating art-making with children and teens provides direct impact and instills a life-long curiosity about the world around us.

Creativity isn’t taught, it is inspired. That is my applied philosophy and I am dedicated to inspiring creativity through the arts. Kids in low-income communities are being forced to grow up with little or no access to the arts. Every child has the right to tap into their creative side and flourish. I am dedicated to creating safe, healthy environments for creative growth. Together, let us inspire creativity by providing access to the arts.
